sharon olds
I feel that the author of this poem experienced an event in his past that he wishes he could change, but i do not think it is a wedding he is talking about. Some event occurred where the author could have changed something in his past but he did not, for whatever reason. He now retells this story in hopes of other people not committing the same mistakes that she did.
wheelbarrow
The simplicity of this poem is the most amazing part about it , in my opinion. Each line says something definite about the wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow does so many things and yet it isnt even moving. One would think this wheelbarrow is a sight to see after reading this poem. The author was probably inside watching the wheelbarrow because he said it was raining and im guessing that he would be indoors observing a simple part of life that people sometimes forget
