The way she writes makes you feel that her words alone could overcome oppression.In the end of the poem she says " and there it is" That makes me feel that she is basically saying if we don't overcome all of the oppression that is going on then we will stay oppressed "there it is" its that simple.She makes you want to take control of your own life and try to better yourself.
